What Elyra Is For

- Sharing moments, thoughts, and updates with the community
What We Expect
Be real. Be yourself. Don't impersonate other people, brands, or the community's founders.
Be respectful. Treat others how you'd want to be treated. Disagreement is fine; harassment is not.
Keep it safe. Look out for one another, online and in person.
What's Not Allowed
Elyra has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Do not post, share, or do any of the following:
- Harassment or bullying — targeting, threatening, or intimidating others.
- Hate speech — attacking or demeaning people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
- Violence or threats — promoting, glorifying, or threatening violence or harm.
- Self-harm — content that promotes or encourages self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
- Sexual or explicit content — pornography, nudity, or sexually explicit material. Absolutely no content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors.
- Illegal activity — promoting or facilitating anything illegal.
- Impersonation — pretending to be someone you're not, including the founders or staff.
- Spam and scams — repetitive, deceptive, fraudulent, or manipulative content.
- Privacy violations — sharing others' private information without consent.
- Intellectual property violations — posting content you don't have the rights to.
Reporting and Blocking
Help us keep Elyra safe:
- Report any post, comment, message, or user using the “...” menu.
- Block anyone you don't want to interact with — their content will be hidden from you, and you can manage blocked users in your profile.
We review reports and take action on objectionable content and abusive users, typically within 24 hours.
Consequences
Depending on the severity, violations may result in:
- Content removal
- A warning
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent removal from Elyra
Serious violations — especially anything involving the safety of others or the exploitation of minors — result in immediate removal and may be reported to law enforcement.
In-Person Link-Ups
When you meet people from Elyra in real life:
- Meet in public places when possible.
- Tell someone you trust where you're going.
- Trust your instincts and prioritize your safety.
You attend in-person events at your own risk. Elyra does not control the conduct of users or third parties at events. Please review the Terms of Service for details.
Using the Assists Board
The Assists board is for community needs and offerings — a barber, a photographer, a ride, and more. Keep it safe:
- Elyra doesn't verify or endorse any user, offer, or service. Arrangements are between you and the other member, at your own risk.
- Meet in public places and treat a first-time arrangement like meeting someone new.
- Never send money to someone you don't know, and don't share sensitive personal or financial information.
- Report suspicious offers, scams, or spam using the “...” menu.
